  13. Sometimes the melody is part of the chord, and sometimes an extension
  14. of the chord.  I did not indicate which notes should be sustained.  To
  15. show the timing, I placed a "v" over each beat.  I typically play the
  16. intro, two verses, the bridge, another verse, and the coda.

  134. You need to tune all strings down one tone for this - so when
  135. you play a G shape it actually comes out in the key of F.
  136. It's important to do this - you can't just play the thing in F
  137. using normal tuning - you need some bass notes which you can
  138. only get by tuning down a tone and playing as if in G.
